🐾 Louie, our beloved Yorkshire Terrier who’s almost 17 months old, is full of curiosity. He loves to explore and occasionally leaves parts of the house in chaos without us noticing. That’s why I often use nosework toys to help him stay focused and stimulated.

The Hide N’ Slide stimulates brain activity and burns energy effectively.
When Louie plays with this toy, his usual stress signs disappear.
He sniffs carefully, uses his nose and paws to uncover hidden treats, and once he’s done, he celebrates by rolling on the bed and showering me with kisses.
I usually let him play two rounds:

Round 1: Easy mode with small treats in simple spots

Round 2: More challenging with extra steps to access the treats
Interestingly, Louie seems to enjoy it even more when the difficulty increases.
🐶 Detailed How-To: How Louie Uses the Hide N’ Slide
🟢 Round 1
I place the treats directly in the large holes and cover them with the sliders.
When the pillars block the sliders, Louie must move the pillar to uncover and access the treat.
🟡 Round 2
I hook the sliders and hide the treats inside the pillars.
In this round, Louie needs to:

Push the pillar

Move the slider
-
Push the pillar again to a large hole (so the treat falls)
-
Slide the pillar back to access the dropped treat
More steps = more fun!
