About Louie

Our family has officially begun documenting the life of our beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Louie. We hope you’ll enjoy getting to know him as much as we do!

1. Louie’s Basic Info

  • Name: Louie
  • Birthday: August 5, 2023

  • Breed: Yorkshire Terrier

  • Gender: Male

  • Personality: Full of energy and absolutely unique. Calm isn’t really in his vocabulary, but he loves fetch more than anything. That said, he absolutely hates giving the ball back—he’s a lovable little rascal.

  • Notable Traits:
    · His coat color changes depending on how tired he is—bright silver when energetic, and a soft light tan when sleepy.
    · He has long fur under his ears, which makes him look like a little princess. But the moment he flops over on his back, he needs a little modesty curtain!

2. How Louie Became Family

Louie was separated from his mother at just 53 days old. Thinking of how young he was still makes our hearts ache, but now we are his forever family—and I’m his mom in every way that matters.

We first met Louie on October 3, 2023, when he was exactly 60 days old. I had planned to delay adopting a dog until after a trip to Korea, but Tori (my daughter) insisted we visit just one more place. There, she met this tiny puppy—and simply couldn’t let go. That was our moment. Louie chose us, and we chose him.

3. Life With Louie

These days, Tori and I often take Louie to the dog park. Watching him run and play is pure joy. On the way back, I always remember the day we brought him home. That was when we chose the name “Louie” for our Yorkshire Terrier pup. The excitement and emotion of that moment still live in our hearts.

Reflections

We dream of a long, joyful life with Louie. He means the world to us.

To my dear Tori and Louie—may you stay healthy and happy for at least 30 years. And if we wish for 30 more years every year, maybe we’ll get to 100 together?

Let’s stay well and joyful, always.

And to all of you reading this—I truly hope your precious dogs live a long, happy life too.
