A dog’s diet is closely tied to their overall health, so choosing the right food is critical.
My 16-month-old Yorkshire Terrier, Louie, eats a wide variety of meals.
When I feed him Carna or The Honest Kitchen Cluster, I always top it off with Belcando Mastercraft.
This topper has worked well to enhance his appetite.
Let’s take a closer look at why I recommend it.
🍖 Belcando Mastercraft as a Food Topper – What It Looks Like
Louie rotates between the beef and turkey flavors.
💡 Belcando Mastercraft is:
-
Made by Belcando, a premium pet food brand from Germany
-
Designed as a wet topper for dry kibble
-
Made with human-grade, high-quality ingredients
-
Available in multiple meat options (turkey, salmon, duck, etc.)
-
Grain-free, which suits many sensitive dogs
🥩 Belcando Mastercraft – A Look Inside
On the left, you’ll see the turkey flavor—you can clearly spot chunks of turkey.
On the right is the beef flavor, which isn’t officially sold in Korea, but this is what it looks like.
✨ Key Benefits:
-
Stimulates appetite in picky or low-energy eaters
-
No synthetic preservatives
-
Easily digestible, thanks to a rich broth base
-
Fully grain-free
🥣 Feeding Preparation – How I Serve It
I use Belcando Mastercraft only when Louie eats kibble.
Since it contains a lot of broth, I mix just a little meat with the soup and pour it over his kibble.
Louie isn't a fan of dry food, so this helps soften it and improve taste.
Each pouch contains 100g, so I refrigerate any leftovers like this 👇
🐶 Louie’s Reaction to Belcando Mastercraft
Here’s Louie eating it on camera!
That day, he’d already had too many treats, so I served a small portion—and he gave me a look of pure betrayal 😅
But… once the food was served, he happily munched away.
Out of 9 kibble pieces, he left just 3.5.
After the broth soaked in more, he came back and finished the rest.
🍽️ Final Thoughts – Belcando Mastercraft as a Topper
Normally, when I serve Louie dry kibble, I use Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers as a topper.
But adding Belcando Mastercraft makes it even more appetizing.
The broth softens the kibble while the real meat boosts flavor.
Since Louie eats mostly freeze-dried food, he's grown less fond of hard textures—this helps a lot.
Looking for something different?
I recommend giving Belcando Mastercraft a try.
⚠️ One note: among Belcando’s full meal lines, Mastercraft is the highest tier, but not all are grain-free.
Since Louie only eats grain-free, I skipped their full meals—but this topper is grain-free, so I use it with peace of mind.
