Good Dog Bowl for Easy Cleaning: A Review of the CXP Material Food Bowl

As a dog parent, you already know how important it is to choose the right bowl for your pup.
But what criteria do you use when making that choice?

I usually prefer ceramic bowls, but recently I received a CXP-material dog bowl as a gift.
After using it with Louie, I was genuinely impressed. Here's a detailed review based on real use.

What Makes a Good Dog Bowl?

For me, a good dog bowl should be:

  • Comfortable for the dog to eat from

  • Spill-resistant

  • Dishwasher-safe

  • Microwave-safe

  • Free from harmful substances

  • And of course… cute!

Let’s be clear: If this new bowl didn’t meet those standards, I wouldn’t be recommending it here.

1. First Impressions: Design & Shape

The bowl has a flower-shaped design with five compartments.
It makes food prep convenient—especially for pet parents who like to offer variety or do "bapku" (dog meal plating).
Even if you're not artistic (like me), it still looks tidy and aesthetic.

2. Real-Life Use: Feeding Multiple Items

Louie doesn't like having just one thing in his bowl, and with our old ceramic bowl, foods always got mixed together.
With this one, I can separate kibbles, snacks, supplements, and wet food easily.
If you're into balanced or creative feeding, I strongly recommend this.

3. Capacity: How Much Can It Hold?

To test its size, I filled it with 450ml of water, which was right to the brim.
That means it's large enough for even big dogs to eat from, while still being great for small breeds like Louie.
The bowl’s depth keeps food from spilling over—a big plus for small dogs.

4. Storage & Durability

When stacked, these bowls look clean and organized.
The CXP material is known for its durability and hygiene—no lingering food smells.
That alone makes it worth recommending.

5. Dishwasher-Safe: A Must for Pet Hygiene

This bowl is completely dishwasher-safe.
That’s important because dog bowls often contain more than just dry food.
With CXP’s smooth surface, it’s easy to wash off any oil or residue—even by hand.
But let’s be honest: most of us prefer tossing it into the dishwasher.

6. Microwave-Safe, Too

It’s also microwave-safe—perfect for those who need to warm up food.
I tested it with just water, but always be cautious when microwaving empty bowls.

Louie’s Experience

Louie had just returned home from a short stay at the hospital, and this was his first meal back.
I tried to take a photo, but by the time I grabbed my phone, he had already finished eating.

The bowl also fits perfectly into Louie’s current tray setup.
If you’re looking to upgrade your setup or switch styles, this bowl is a great option.

Final Thoughts

When I first received it, I thought it was too big.
But now I realize—it was designed so Louie could eat cleanly without spilling.
Even the packaging and message that came with it were beautifully done.

If you’re looking for a stylish, hygienic, and practical bowl, this is a strong choice for any dog parent.
